Fifteen Lodges. Fit for a King

A new Sandringham Stay

The Challenge

The Caravan and Motorhome Club set out to enhance its outdoor holiday offering at Sandringham Estate, introducing premium glamping accommodation within one of the UK’s most recognisable heritage landscapes.

The ambition was to create a high-comfort glamping village within Glucksburg Woods that blended naturally into the woodland environment, while meeting modern guest expectations for space, warmth and convenience. Inclusivity was also a key requirement, ensuring the experience was accessible for all guests.

Our Approach

Clear Sky partnered with the Caravan and Motorhome Club to supply and install 15 luxury Woody safari tents, thoughtfully positioned throughout Glucksburg Woods to complement the surrounding setting.

Each tent was delivered fully equipped for a premium guest stay, including:

  • Comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests

  • Integrated heating / wood burner and power

  • Kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi and furnished living/dining zones

  • Private decked terraces with awnings, and select layouts with in-tent bathrooms

As part of the installation, Clear Sky also provided a fully accessible tent, designed with enhanced spatial access and layout features to support inclusive outdoor stays.

Impact

The new safari-tent village introduces a standout glamping offer at Sandringham, giving guests a fresh way to experience royal woodland with comfort and style.

Visitors benefit from premium accommodation alongside expanded on-site facilities including woodland walking trails, a children’s play area, seasonal pop-up catering and communal spaces such as a fire pit, reinforcing Sandringham’s appeal as a destination for families, couples and groups.
